Ellis County Insurance Agency has been serving clients in Texas since 1897. During that time the agency has grown to be the largest independent insurance agency in Ellis County. Representing over forty companies and general agencies, Ellis County Insurance Agency is able to present competitive coverage for virtually any line of insurance. In 1992, Ellis County Insurance Agency became a part of the Lipscomb Insurance Group, further expanding the agency’s insurance markets, financial strength, and automation. A number of acquisitions and mergers have taken place over the years, the most recent being the merger of the former George Couch Agency of Italy, Texas into the Elllis County Insurance Agency.
